The Meaning of Contact

My first inclination is to address terminology that is often used in the dressage world in an attempt to instruct the student in the art of riding.  Since we communicate in words and certain words may not have a universal meaning that everyone understands, I would like to explain in more depth the meaning of the words I use in my instruction process.
