After Little Chief, whom I got to ride about twenty times before he was moved by his owner, I had nothing but imaginary horses to ride.  I got creative. Eventually forty eight imaginary horses lived at my house all needing daily exercise. I got so fit running cantering and jumping around that I became the fastest girl in my school on both the track and cross . . .
